  1. Nothing is wrong with the bible, something wrong with our glasses. God’s truth is rock & worlds truth is sand. The break down on what we see through our glasses is how we interpret the bible. Looking at how I read it, wanting to look at it in its true authenticity.

  3. Okay….here it is. I am a 62 year old mother of 2 adult sons and grandmother of 5. I have been aware of so much bad doctrine for decades and did not know how to avoid the web of it without walking away from church all together!!!!!At 16 years old I wanted to walk away from church and all that it was offering because what was being taught just didn’t help sustain the change and growth I was trying so desperately to hold on to. I needed a community of “hungry” and “thirsty” Christians. No shade to the people in my life then and now. I love them SOOOO much but I stopped 2 years ago when I turned 60 and just said simply, No more. All I knew to call it was “dead religion”.
When I heard Dr. Dharius preach/teach in October of 2015 a light went off inside of me. I had NO idea that God had walked me into the answer and cry of my heart. I literally came alive with hope like a little child. I was inviting people to follow Change Church as I drove for Lyft and Uber. I told my neighbors, strangers, people at my {then} home church. I followed up by driving to Orlando, Florida for the the launch of that campus from the Atlanta area (Gwinnett County) one Sunday morning!!!!! And I have been off to the races since!!!! Lastly, at 57 years old as a college student (yep you heard me right), I began to long to go to seminary for in depth Bible study to add to what I was learning in my Early Childhood Education courses.
Now on this Sunday before Thanksgiving all I can say with a shout to the top of my lungs is…..”Lord! Thank You! Thank you! Thank You. Help me to finish well by finishing STRONG. Give me M.O.R.E. so that I can leave a legacy of Your “living” Word and the practical application of it to ALL around me.
Last point. I HAVE to give glory to God and say, had it not been for His love through the Holy Spirit, I would have died in the wilderness of error and bad religious doctrine. This is the Great Awakening to me. I am forever grateful and glad the “itch” of religious leprosy is fallen away.
